Adam Porowski

Hydrogeologist researcher in the Institute of Geological Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences (ING PAN) based in Warsaw, Poland.

He has more than ten years experience in scientific and applied research in various branches of hydrogeology. Principal research interests concern the application of the state-of-the-art geochemical and isotopic methods in hydrogeology and hydrogeochemistry to solve or explore various aspects of the origin, occurrence and utilization of unconventional water types – highly mineralized, thermal, oil-associated, mine drainage, metamorphic etc.

He develops contacts with industry sector in the area of commercialization of scientific research, implementation of new sampling, monitoring and exploration methods, improvement of analytical techniques – especially in the area of isotopic research.

Dr Porowski is alumnus of the prestigious program Top 500 Innovators – Entrepreneurship & Commercialization of Scientific Research sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and performed at the Haas School of Business of Berkeley University, USA.

He is the author of several scientific papers, book chapters, one patent and industrial application.
